Group Executive
The Group scout leader is responsible for all the adventure and activities that go on in the group. This is the person to speak to you if you have any problems.
Tom has been a scouter for majority of his life. Starting as a beaver at the age of 6 Tom has a breadth of experience in scouting from a younger person’s perspective as a participant and an adults perspective having held appointments as an Assistant Scout Leader, Cub Scout Leader and Scout Leader over the last 7 years.
Tom is a keen water activities enthusiast, holding senior qualifications in Sailing & Powerboating, supporting the County water activities team with leading and instructing at events.
Louise is one of three Beaver scout leaders in the Group. Beaver scout leaders provide a fun and active programme for 6-8 year olds.
Louise has been involved in the group for 5 years? And is absolutely fantastic at looking after your little ones. An enthusiastic and energetic leader who knows what’s best, often keeping the other leaders in check and in high spirits.
By day, Louise works for a local nursery, and brings her talent, skill and experience to the section, bringing the adventure to life for the littles ones.
Dominic joined our Group May of 2022. Supporting our executive with business end of the group, helping us to grow and develop
As senior officer of the Salvation army, Dominic has a breadth of skills and experience that no doubt will come in handy
An experienced an avid Scouter, at Group, District and County levels, Mark joins our executive to help our group do offer the best of Scouting. Marks' experience will guide our group in compliance to POR and navigating complex Scouty issues. "I've been a volunteer in Scouting since 1987 and have held various positions at group, district and county levels in West Yorkshire. This included as a group team leader and chair of a trustee board. Along with my wife, Debbie, I run two businesses that use LEGO bricks - a shop and an activity provider. I have one son, Jordan (Cub team leader) who is responsible for me supporting Preston Central as a trustee. Scouting has so much to offer youngsters and their grown-up
Beavers
Naomia is the second of two Beaver scout leaders in the Group. Beaver scout leaders provide a fun and active programme for 6-8 year olds.
Naomia also has a long-standing history with the group, starting initially as a scout leader whilst at university. Naomia is a lively leader who works hard to make sure the beavers get the most out of the programme.
Our very own group registered nurse! Naomi is a nurse for the local hospital, so you can rest easy knowing your littles ones are in super caring super safe hands!
Sue is our wonderful, kind and caring section assistant for Cubs and Scouts. She is the extra pair of helping hands all our leaders need to deliver the best programme possible.
Sue is a long standing and group volunteer who is an asset to the group, always there to offer support or help with an activity and always gets stuck in.
Cubs
Jordan is our Cub leader. To be a cub leader, one must be; a master of all 5 elements; Earth, Fire, Air, Water and FUN!!!, The greatest showman the universe has ever seen and with more energy than a pack of Gazillion wolves.

Jordan joined the group two years ago as an assistant cub scout leader whilst undertaking is undergraduate degree. Jordan took to the group like he was born into it, a hit with young people and brings out the best in everything that our cub pack has to offer.
Jordan like Tom joined scouting as ( ) and brings with him scout leadership experience from being a young leader and a section assistant back home.
Freya is our assistant Cub Scout leader and joined the group recently. A student at the university on an outdoor leadership degree programme, taking mastery of the elements to the next level and helping our cubs to get the most out of the great outdoors.
An appointed County Cub Scout leader, Freya will be involved in the planning and supporting of County Cub Scout events, and will help our Cub section get the out of the County Cub’s programme, keeping us up to date with County wide shared updates and bringing a fresh perspective to our programme.
Scouts
Lojska is lifelong Scouter, joined the group in December 2021 to take the reigns of our largest section in the group after moving to the area to study at the University of Central Lancashire. Lojska’s has a keen interest in outdoor activities, with a love of kayaking, pioneering and fire based activities! For scouts, this is a winning combination! Lojska’s scouting background and enthusiasm for the outdoors is a perfect fit for out Scout section, and we can always expect the scouts embark on exciting adventures. .
